Picafelli in your chat

Design your home from Claude or ChatGPT

Add Picafelli to the chat app you already use, then just ask: “add a 3 × 4 m bedroom upstairs”, “put a sofa facing the window”, “paint the living room sage green”. The chat edits your saved project, shows you the plan, and opens it in Picafelli in 3D. It runs on your chat subscription — no API key, nothing to pay us.

In Claude

  1. 1Open Settings, then Connectors.
  2. 2Choose “Add custom connector”, name it Picafelli and paste the address above.
  3. 3Click Connect, sign in to Picafelli and allow access.
  4. 4In a conversation, turn Picafelli on from the tools menu and ask for a change.

On a Team or Enterprise plan, an owner adds the connector for the organisation first.

In ChatGPT

  1. 1Open Settings, then Apps, and turn on developer mode under Advanced settings.
  2. 2Create an app: name it Picafelli, paste the address above and choose OAuth sign-in.
  3. 3Sign in to Picafelli and allow access.
  4. 4In a conversation, pick Picafelli from the + menu and ask for a change.

Until Picafelli is listed in ChatGPT's app directory, adding it needs developer mode, which ChatGPT offers on its paid plans.

What it can do

  • List your projects and start a new one.
  • Show the plan of a project, storey by storey, right in the chat.
  • Draw and move walls, add doors, windows, stairs and storeys.
  • Furnish rooms from the catalogue, lay floors and paint walls, including the paints, limewashes and tiles of the materials catalogue.
  • Open the result in Picafelli to see it in 3D and keep designing.

Good to know

  • It works on the projects saved to your Picafelli account — a project only on this device is not visible to it until you sign in and open it once.
  • Objects you built in the Object Studio show as unknown pieces in the chat.
  • A studio tab that is already open shows the chat's changes the next time you open the project.
  • An edit can remove walls, storeys or furniture. If you don't like the result, ask the chat to put it back, or undo it in the studio.

Your account, your say

The chat only gets access after you sign in and click Allow. It reads and changes your projects when you ask it to, and nothing else on your account. You can remove it at any time in the chat app's settings, and deleting your Picafelli account cancels every access.
