Signature d'Exception

A distributor's own label, not a manufacturing house. *Signature d'Exception* is the colour card of the Sign'NATURE network, carried by Espace Coopérative, the co-operative of independent paint merchants at Ambérieux-d'Azergues north of Lyon. The paint is formulated for it, not by it.

What makes it worth having here is what a retailers' co-operative does: over four hundred shades, machine-tinted in the network's own shops, arranged as harmonies rather than colour families — *Les Chaleureuses*, *Les Pétillantes* — and sold by the litre, the 2.5 L and the 10 L with the price on show, which the makers on this page rarely do.
